These terms apply to everyone who uses alphoncekirui.com (“the site”), including people who read articles, download free resources or buy guides and tools. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Who runs this site
The site is run by Alphonce Kimutai Kirui, based in Bomet County, Kenya. You can reach me through the Contact page or on WhatsApp at 0728 801 352.
This is a personal site. Views expressed here are my own and do not represent my employer or any government body.
2. Information on the site
Articles, guides and tools are written to be practical and accurate, but they are general information, not professional advice for your specific situation.
- Farming and animal health: content on livestock, feeding and record keeping does not replace advice from a qualified veterinarian or agricultural extension officer. Always follow drug labels and withdrawal periods.
- Business: figures in articles are usually worked examples. Your costs, prices and results will differ. Check permits and rules with your county.
- TVET and CDACC: study guides and articles are independent resources written to follow the published curricula. They are not official TVET CDACC, TVETA or KNQA publications and are not endorsed by those bodies. Always refer to your official curriculum, occupational standard and assessment guidelines.
I correct errors when I find them or when readers report them. Please let me know if you spot one.
3. Digital products and payment
- Guides, record books and spreadsheet tools are sold as digital downloads. Prices are shown in Kenya shillings (KES) on this site, or in the currency shown on Selar when you pay there.
- Payment on this site is by M-Pesa. Card payments are processed by Selar or other third-party payment providers, whose own terms also apply.
- Download links are sent to the email address you give at checkout and are available under My downloads once payment is confirmed.
- Your purchase gives you a personal licence to use the product for your own farm, business, studies or teaching. You may print copies for your own use. You may not resell, share publicly, upload or redistribute the files.
4. Problems with an order
Because products are digital and delivered instantly or on payment confirmation, purchases are generally not refundable once downloaded. If you paid but did not receive your file, the file will not open, or you were charged twice, contact me with your M-Pesa confirmation code or order number and I will resolve it, by resending the file, replacing it or refunding the duplicate payment.
5. Your use of the site
When using the site you agree not to:
- Copy and republish articles or paid content without permission. Short quotes with a link back are welcome.
- Try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site.
- Post spam, abusive or unlawful content in comments or forms.
- Use the site to break any law in Kenya or in your own country.
6. Copyright
Unless stated otherwise, all articles, guides, tools, images and designs on the site belong to Alphonce Kirui. Curricula and standards referred to on the site belong to their respective owners.
7. Advertising and links
The site may show advertising, including ads served by Google, and may contain links to other websites and to my own products. I am not responsible for the content of external sites or for products sold by advertisers. How advertising cookies are used is explained in the Privacy policy.
8. Limitation of liability
The site and its content are provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss arising from use of the information or products on the site, including farming, business or assessment outcomes. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Kenyan consumer protection law.
9. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
